LOCATIONS Our wedding ceremony will be in a community garden in Braddock. It was planted and maintained as a part of a youth program. It used to be an empty lot. It's been made into a garden with loving care. That's right, it's outside. You'll need to bring a blanket to sit upon. . You can find it directly down the hill from the parking lot behind the venue for the reception.. ![]() ![]() The reception will be held at 424 Library Street, which is a community gallery which used to be a Presbyterian church. This space is often used to hold large art events and the like. The floor does slope slightly. Wearing rollerskates to the event is not advised. ![]() ![]() ![]() TRANSPORTATION We are encouraging folks to car pool. There is public transportation to the location of our nuptials. For information on public transportation, please visit the Port Authority or Google Transit. Need at ride? Check the forum, there is backround chatter of starting a ride-share that starts in Oakland. Parking is available behind the old Presbyterian church and next to the Carnegie LIbrary. REGISTRY? Well, we are not doing a registry. We are both kind of old, and things that are traditionally given as wedding presents, we have no need for. Most of what we really need is help with the wedding. For more information on how to do that, please visit the Forum. Other things we would appreciate are listed in the FAQ. Just like everyone we know right now, cash is always appreciated. ![]() |
